(More customer reviews)Before I bought a patio umbrella, I took the time to read the customer reviews of the the various different styles available. I came to the conclusion that I wanted the convenience of a crank raising mechanism, since the umbrella would be used by many people. On the other hand, too many reviewers complained about the flimsiness of the aluminum poles, and how they snapped in the first breeze. I decided that a cast iron pole would solve this problem.
Yes, this pole costs more than an aluminum pole, but it is VERY sturdy. It has made it though this first season with flying colors, and I am confident I and the others at this nursing home will enjoy it for many years to come. I knew what I was looking for. When I read this product description it sounded perfect, so I took a leap of faith and bought it. Good choice.
Why is this so important to me? I am a paraplegic and cannot easily leave my room to shop for or return items, plus I have a limited income. I cannot afford the time and sheer effort needed to return "failed" shopping. In fact, I used one finger to type this review and it has taken me over an hour to write it. I rely on customer reviews to make all my product choices. So please, review, review, and review!!!!

Kamenstein 6-Piece Stainless Steel Coaster Set Review

The black rings in the center are made of rubber and started to fall out after a day or so of use. They look cheap, and are poorly manufactured. Not recommended.

I am not a fan of bug clean up. Plus it gives some privacy, and it is easy to take down. We are really happy with this buy. It's a great deal, if you can't afford to add a screen to your house.

(More customer reviews)We bought this last year and really enjoyed it. Left it out without the roof over the winter---no problems. HOWEVER, you really do need someone with a little technical know-how to put it together. That's one of the reasons we didn't take it back down! Also, if you have a membership to a certain warehouse (think of one with a patriotic name), you can get it, with shipping included, for quite a bit less than half a grand. We have tripled the time we spent outdoors---probably more---because we can finally sit bug-free. Also, this size is big enough for a large lounge chair (chaise) and two or three regular outdoor chairs, or you could probably squeeze in a smaller wicker set. Big enough for us!

(More customer reviews)I bought this brand new...and it is already broken. I never even got a chance to use it! I took it out once to see how it looked..nice but very heavy!!! I mean VERY heavy! Then this week I took it out again to get ready for a craft show..and thought my husband and I could set it up to do a trial run..and pow..all these arms in the tresses were bending and then broke..one after the other. 4 total. I checked on replacement parts and it is $19 for each...and I need 4! One steel piece almost hit me in the eye as it totally snapped. I was careful setting it up! Now what am I going to do? It is made of steel. Heavy duty...I mean heavy...not sure about the duty...maybe heavy doody is more like it!
It is horrible..and i took pictures of what happened. I would like a replacement frame immediately...as I don't know what to do with the nice canvas roof/walls/etc.... I hope the company will come through...but there is no way I can even send back the broken one...it is just too heavy...no joke!

Our only complaint is the sides are not completely weather resistant between the sections. We will need to modify it slightly to attach the pieces of canopy covering the poles to the side curtains. This can be easily done with velcro.

NEG- IT IS NOT A 10x10 canopy!!! It is a 8x8 canopy with a 10x10 base due to slant legs. The picture used on amazon is not acurate. It shows a straight leg canopy, not a slant!!
While I am not happy about the misleading advertising, Northern tool did do right by returning the canopy free of charge.

We recieved a different canopy,w/o any communication from the company.I waited 4 months for this item.I am stuck now as we at this late date we are now unable to find any canopy covers anywhere.
Do not do business with this unethical company.
We were very dissapointed,& we contacked the company also.

They get VERY hot in the summer and did fine through the winter. The instructions were a little sketchy, but I managed to figure them out. The quality as a whole is pretty good,though on one of them the leg seam was poor and there were a couple holes. I didn't really care.
